StarUp YID Artist Training Course

The StarUp Art Training is a career planning course. Teaching and encouragement stimulate their mobility. Everything has to be done by themselves: choosing colours, drying their own work, cleaning up and organizing abilities, etc. At a higher level, it enhances their leadership in painting and independence and explores their personal creative style. When needed, they discuss and coordinate with each other to achieve the ability to paint collaborative paintings. Behind all these, besides affirmation and guidance, they also put in considerable focus and effort. After time-honed practice, they can produce a work full of originality and uniqueness and then produce products or product packaging designs! The next step is to learn how to operate and sell the products they have designed.

Target Audience: Youth with Intellectual Disabilities (YID) aged 16 and above

Date: Every Saturday, 1.5 hours per session

Class Size: 4-6 participants (small group teaching)
